Pouch Placing System with BBMTM
George Gordon Associates presents the PPS-1000 packet placing system. The basic system module employs a servo driven in-feed belt, pulling the product from the tote or reel over the in-feed web guide for web support and control. The web string is pulled by the first set of servo-powered belts that accurately present the web to the cutting position with high reliability. As part of the basic module, a high efficiency shear knife system will cut each package and deliver it to the servo out-feed belt and dispense it into a continuously moving receptacle with precise positioning. The shear knife is actuated by an air cylinder and is mounted in such a manner to remain perpendicular to the fixed knife-edge for clean precision cutting and long lasting knife service. Many applications such as an oxygen absorber into a vertical scale for packaging Beef Jerky only needs a simple chute to deliver the product effectively into the packaging system matching the investment to the application need. A second servo module provides exacting control of the packet after the cut for precision timing to synchronize placement into the secondary packaging process. Some applications need this level of precision for higher speeds and continuous motion. The self-contained system with servo controller with touch screen, gives accurate, efficient production operation. Precision accuracy avoids product damage such as cutting out of position. It provides packet dispensing into almost any secondary operation with exact synchronization to match the speed of continuously moving flights. Modularity provides a multitude of configurations, and mounting options to meet the application requirements with ease and just the way you want it. Lightweight, small size and configuration versatility make the PPS-1000 ideal for a wide range of applications dispensing items.
