Description

The AccuWrap DuraPac DP-2000S is a multi-axis, servo-controlled, shrink wrapper designed for moderate-speed, cost-efficiency, and easy maintenance. The DuraPac line of shrink wrappers features collating load systems for effective product loading and product staging as needed. Film loading is at floor level, and the centerline machine design provides quick setup and changeover. Maximum control over the product is provided through the movement of the product into the film pocket. Product infeed features a positive-grip side seal and hot shoe design for high seal integrity.

A highly reliable trapezoidal end seal unique to GGA Packaging systems provides high-speed operation, and adjusts to a wide range of products. The film dancer and tensioning system provides superior web tension control, and will handle all film types. An extra-large trim take-up is provided for long runs, and its easy removal minimized down time. Positive product delivery to the GGA Packaging FG-5000 Shrink Tunnel provides seamless integration with downstream equipment.

Featuring Allen-Bradley® controls for superior performance, the system provides independently adjustable servo control of longitudinal film travel for the in-line seal, main cross-sealing with rotary hot knife, conveyors and unwind, all of which provide the ultimate in control for packaging production.

Over 100 recipes for touch screen retrieval make product changeovers as easy as selecting your favorite TV channels. Product position monitoring for Out Of Position/No Cut and No Product/No Bag means more good packages ready to ship.

The optional wash-down upgrade features stainless-steel construction designed to the “no particle trapping” criteria, allowing food particles to fall through, and accommodating wash down for all conveyors and wet wipe down of sealing sections. The modular design and small footprint make the DP-2000S system ideal for both general-purpose and food applications across various packaging industries.
